EVENT RECAPS:
It may be just my imagination but I’m beginning to see a world that is so accustomed to video that a single picture may never keep peoples' attention. Of course there will be some nostalgic lovers of photos, who hold onto them thinking that one day, they’ll lose their hard drive or the internet will crash and every loving memory they have will be gone. But trust me when I tell you that video, especially live streaming video is changing the way that people interact and share.
Now, for some reason or another, I’m not sure why, it has taken the number one video library in the world a moment to catch on to allowing people to broadcast live but that day is finally over! Oh, who am I talking about? Well, #YOUTUBE.
I couldn’t for the life of me figure out why you could use their app to create content on the “go” but couldn’t #GoLive. Just when I was going to try and reach out to them, I read an article that informed me that not only were they going to add #LiveStreaming to their app, some people were already using the app to do so.
Now I don’t know about you but for me, this will also change the way that we’ll
be able to interact with #eventpartners, #eventvendors and #eventsponsors.
Just think about it for a moment. The possibility of never having to do a written/virtual recap may soon be over. No more endless nights of trying to get photos and videos on a server that keeps crashing.
I can honestly say that I’d sit and view a #livestream of an event any day of the week.
