Are you a small business or any business being asked to sponsor an event?
Have you ever thought, "maybe sponsoring an event will boost my business?"
Have you ever wondered, "what do I look for if I sponsor an event??
Well, you've come to the right place for an answer. Because today, I'm going to touch on answering these questions. To find out if this is the perfect event to sponsor, ask for an attendee list. If you're unable to get one from the event organizer, you can do the following:
Go to the event page: look at those who RSVP'd and check a few profiles. This will help you to decide whether or not your potential clients will be at the event.
Take a few extra moments and look at the speakers profiles. Do they speak to and hold the attention of your demographic? Do they seem to do a good job at responding to their followers? Are they someone you would hire to speak at your event?
Take a moment to research the event and prior events of the event organizer. How successful were past events? What are people saying about those events? What types of questions are attendees asking? How can you better serve them?
Once you do the research, you're ready to consider a #sponsorship opportunity.
