It's National Coffee Day and what better time than now to think of your beverage sponsors for next year. I mean seriously, this year is gone and you should have already completed most of your event recaps, right?

If you're like me, you're looking at the last few events you've had and are considering adding additional beverage sponsors to cover certain portions of your events. If that's the case and you've learned that the majority of attendees to your networking events drink coffee, you're probably looking for statistics that might help to bring in that "coffee" sponsor.

But don't stop there, you may want to consider adding a competition to that sponsorship partnership. Instead of the mundane, "coffee presented by," you might offer a "taster competition" complete with "cup sponsors" "water filter sponsors," "equipment sponsor," "trophy sponsor." I'm sure, by now, you're catching on and if you are, take a deep breath, back away from the table, grab yourself a cup of coffee and think about that "Beverage opportunity!"
