"Just send me something?!"

Have you ever called a potential sponsor talked to the correct contact and after your call heard this, "Just send me something?" If you have, you need to quickly do one of two things.


1. Start reviewing everything you can about the company and find out every little detail you can, about current events, past event sponsorship and who their true demographic is.

DON'T send a generic proposal. 


2. Send a note thanking the potential sponsor for the conversation and move along.
